New York Hi Fashions was founded by our grandfather, Kenny Buxani — a man who believed in one thing above all else: the American Dream. When he arrived in America from India, he had nothing. No money, no family beside him. He couldn't afford to bring them yet. He came alone and made it work.
Kenny was a skilled tailor. He traveled all across America, suit by suit, dollar by dollar, until he had saved enough to open a store of his own. After searching the country, he fell in love with Cordele, Georgia and its warm southern charm. That is where he planted his roots.
New York Hi Fashions has called Cordele home for over 50 years — and counting. All of it made possible because one man dared to risk everything for a better life.
